All Stagewise tutors are experienced, professional practitioners - and some even started their careers as Stagewise students.

Charly Pitt - Part-time and Summer School Tutor

Charly was originally a student at Stagewise from the age of 10 years.

She enjoyed herself so much, she decided to come back first as an Assistant and then as a full-time tutor! At the moment, Charly is studying for a BA(Hons) in Musical Theatre at The Arden, part of Manchester University and is a part-time and substitute tutor. Charly has directed at the Stagewise Summer School and looks forward to continuing her relationship with the school in the future.

Charly has also worked as Assistant Director and Choreographer for Barry on a Year 4 project which resulted in a highly successful performance of "Jonah Man Jazz" . She has worked for three years for 'Fun 4 Young People' either as a Assistant Dance Tutor or Assistant Drama Tutor. She worked for the same scheme as tutor for an after-school club dance course.

Charly won the 2007 Performing Arts Award at Wootton Upper School. She was a principal for Bedfordshire Youth Opera and also performed in a number of BYO's Theatre in Education Schools Tours.

Fiona Williams - Accredited LAMDA tutor

Fiona is delighted to be working with Stagewise offering tuition leading to LAMDA exams.

Fiona is an experienced English and Drama teacher and has worked with Stagewise since 2008. She specialises in Speech and Drama and is an accredited LAMDA teacher. She is pleased to report 100% exam success, with all Stagewise entrants passing with flying colours.

Fiona enjoys her involvement with local amateur theatre and sometimes acts as stage manager when, occasionally, her experience as a pyrotechnician has come in very handy! She particularly loves Shakespeare and is currently studying for an MA in Shakespeare at - where else, but Stratford-upon-Avon.
